Ризван СулејманиSulejmani Rizvan - chair (5.1.1957, Skopje). Completed primary education in Saraj, secondary in the gymnasium “Zef Lush Marku” in Skopje. Graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering “Ss. Kiril and Metodij” in Skopje. Completed the master studies in European studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. Holds PhD in political studies from the University in Skopje. Married to Nuremane and father of two sons, Artan and Faton in Skopje. Held several managing positions and functions. Two times was member of the Macedonian Parliament, deputy defense minister and minister of local self-government in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. As a deputy he was member of the Macedonia’s parliamentary group in NATO. Member of several managing boards. Founder and currently chair of the North Atlantic Council of NATO in Macedonia. Founder and chair of the Presidency of the European Movement in Macedonia. Currently, he is director of the Institute of Political and Intercultural Studies in Skopje.

GabrielaGabriela Micevska – deputy chair (23.12.1970, Skopje). Graduated in Agricultural engineering; currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”. In the period from 1997 to 2002 she worked as an agribusiness consultant on few international projects and as a consultant in her own consulting firm. From 2002 to 2006 she worked as a project manager in Care International Macedonia and as a monitoring consultant on the SFARM project. From 2006 to 2009 she worked in the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water economy as an adviser of the minister and as a state adviser for international cooperation and European integration. Since 2009 she works as a manager in the agriculture and rural development sector in CeProSARD. Furthermore, from 1999 she is an authorized entrepreneurship, marketing and business planning trainer, holding a CEFE certificate.

Бехиџудин ШехапиShehapi Behixhudin - “El Hilal” (27.2.1961, Tetovo) Graduated history of art and archeology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. Married and father of four children. Has more than 20-year long experience on managing positions in the educational, civil society institutions and organizations as well as in the Islamic Religious Community. For two years he was lecturer in Islamic Culture and Civilization in the secondary theology school “Isa Begova Medresa” in Skopje; 15 years he was heading the department on religious facilities and Islamic culture in the Islamic Religious Community; four years he was editor of the newspaper “New Moon”; 12 years was general secretary of El Hilal; five years was chairman of El Hilal, now he is in the second term of office on this position; four years was member of MCIC’s Management Board; two years was director of the National Conservation Center, now reelected for a second mandate. He has an extensive knowledge and experience in managing the civil society sector, crisis and conflict management, interpersonal and communication with the media. He is skilled in establishing intercultural and interreligious dialogue and gave his contribution in strengthening the mutual trust. He is familiar with all civilization achievements in Macedonia and has authored several publications in this area.

vanco stojanovVancho Stojanov (01.01.1967, Strumica). Finished secondary school at the SMSCS “D-r Panche Kragjozov”, Skopje as a Medical Laboratory Assistant; continued his studies at the Medical Higher School in Bitola, where he was awarded the title Graduated laboratory analyst. he is married and a father of two children. In the period from 2000 to 2009 he was a manager of the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory in the general hospital in Strumica, where he improved his managing and team work skills. He is a member of the Management board Red Cross in Strumica, as well as of the State Statistical Office. Since 2009 he is a mayor of Vasilevo.

Ѓоко ЃорѓевскиGjorgjevski Gjoko - Macedonian Orthodox Church (24.7.1968, Skopje). Graduated in 1991 at the Orthodox Theology Faculty “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje. During the studies, he was president of the students’ association at the faculty and editor in chief of the students’ bulletin. After three years as a professor, he went for several month study visit in the Eastern Institute in Regensburg – Germany. He completed the master studies at the Faculty of Theology – Biblical Theology at the Papal University “Gregoriana” in Rome, Italy (1994-1996), where he also received the PhD title in 2000. Since 2001, he is assistant professor in the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament. Actively involved in the activities on interreligious dialogue since 2001, through participation at conferences and meetings in the country and abroad as well as in the field of social theology. Editor in chief of the magazine “Orthodox Way” from 2002 to 2006.

Горан МихајловскиMihajlovski Goran (24.11.1963, Bitola) Graduated journalism at Skopje University in 1988. Professional journalist since September 1989. From 1989 to 2000 he was journalist in “Večer”. Editor in chief of “Večer” from December 1998 to May 2000. Founder and editor in chief of “Vest” since July 5, 2000. Author of the column “I want to say” in both “Večer” and “Vest” since January 1991. Published three books – collection of his columns “I want to say” (1997, 2002, 2007) and another book in the field of journalism and tourism “Five Star Stories” (2004). Two-time winner of the “Mito Hadzivasilev Jasmin” award for “I want to say”. Winner of “Krste Misirkov” award for achievements in journalism. Since 2007, lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Skopje, at the studies of journalism on the subject “Editing Media”.

ratko lazarevskiRatko Lazarevski (08.02.1969, Skopje). Graduated at the Faculty of Security in Skopje. Married with two children, Milan and Ekaterina. From 1993 to 2000 he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; from 2000 to 2008 he worked in Duferko – Makstil in the Department of conducting public opinion and market and media surveys, as a consultant in the Public Relations Agency and as a manager. Since 2008 he is a director of the daily newspaper “Nova Makedonija”. He achieved the highest grade (tenth degree black belt) in Judo and holds an international diving license for diving instructors. He is a member of MCIC’s Council.

Кочо АнѓушевAngjušev Kočo - vice-chair (20.6.1969, Skopje). Graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, where he received the master degree in 1995 and the PhD degree in 1998. Has a 16-year working experience at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where he worked as professor, six years as director of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and five years as Chairman of the Management Board of “Brako”. Member of several international professional bodies. Published more than 100 scientific papers and more than 50 industrial projects.

 

Билјана Герасимoвска – КитановскаGerasimovska – Kitanovska Biljana (26.02.1969, Skopje) Graduated at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, where she has specialized in internal medicine. Married. Employed in the Clinical Centre in Skopje at the Clinic of Nephrology. In 1995 founded and chaired and now is an active member of the Women's Organization for Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality of Women – ESE, Skopje with significant achievements in developing the gender approach in Macedonia. Member of the Management Board of MCIC since 2004. During her mandate, she continuously contributed for the analysis of different issues, particularly in the field of human and gender rights, equal opportunities and anti-discrimination.

Јагуп СелимоскиSelimoski Jagup – Islamic Religious Community (3.10.1946, Skopje). Completed primary education in Kičevo, secondary Islamic school in Saraevo and university education at Al-Azhar in Cairo, Egypt. Worked as secretary in the IRC and in the period 1980-1991 presided over the community and was head of the community in the former SFRY until 1993. Currently, he is director of the sector on religious education in IRC, Skopje. Member of the highest bodies of IRC and of the Interreligious Council of the Republic of Macedonia.

 

Славко ВелевскиVelevski Slavko – Municipality of Mogila (22.6.1961, Mogila). Completed primary school in Mogila, secondary in Bitola and graduated biology at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science in Skopje. Married to Gordana and father of two children, Hristijan and Petar. Mayor of Mogila municipality for 12 years. Previously in the period 1991-1993 worked as biology teacher in the primary school “Slavko Lumbarkovski” in Novaci. In 1982 he was one of the founders and active player of the basketball team “Strela” – Mogila, which played in the regional league of Macedonia. Member of the student organization. Member of the ZELS Education Committee and of the Association of Financial Officers of the Local Self-government and Public Enterprises. Good knowledge in local government, public services, regional and rural development.
